Film Review: The Secretariat

Another upper middle class American movie!  Ho Hum!!  I woke up when the horse race scenes appeared; and skipping the ho hum gushy family shots sat mesmerized by the awesome filming of more horse racing scenes. A true story of Secretariat more often spoken of as 'Red"; the greatest racehorse ever; the film  sparks long oppressed and mysterious feelings. The jockey, the trainer, and the Red's owner were played very well but Red is the star. The last scenes and the music are quite unforgettable whether you are a horse lover or not; and bound to shed teas from the most stubborn men.
